Rcom to shut down part of its wireless operations

October 25, 2017 Leave a Comment

Reliance Communications, as per report in ET, will be optimizing its 2G and 3G operations and focus on 4G services from 30 November, 2017. This story came just a day after the news of Reliance Communications shutting down its DTH business.

In a leaked and unverified audio clip doing rounds on social media, Gurdeep Singh, Executive Director, Rcom tells its employees to move on as they failed to resuscitate RCom after “creative destruction” by Reliance Jio.

Rcom, after the falling of merger with Aricel, is trying hard to clear the debt by shutting off the DTH business and now scaling down the wireless operations.

I hope they continue providing the affordable high speed data and cheaper voice calls provided by Rcom.
