Google has introduced experimental new features in Gmail. These experimental features are being called as Gmail Labs. You can check out these features under ‘Labs’ in ‘Settings’.
Please note that these are experimental features & may disappear temporarily or permanently. Google wants you to send feedback on Gmail Labs to the Labs group- http://groups.google.com/group/gmail-labs

What exactly does this do?
